Liquid pet supplement OEM: when a dropper is the SKU, not a chew

A dropper photographs as "precise". A chew photographs as a treat. Buyers mix those two jobs in one email and then wonder why the quote has two MOQs.

I write this from Shenzhen Enbeichong. We run drops and oils as their own line, not as leftover chew syrup. Catalogue pieces include cat urinary drops, cat L-lysine drops, hairball relief drops, hemp seed oil and wild fish oil. The high-level format choice is chews vs powder vs drops. When a liquid is the right first SKU

Cats that refuse a chew. Clinic dosing in millilitres. An oil where EPA/DHA per pump is the story. A lysine bottle next to a shelter or cattery channel. Those are liquid jobs.

A marketplace treat habit is usually a chew. Do not force joint glucosamine into a dropper because a competitor's Amazon listing used a pipette in the hero image. The chew already exists: hip and joint.

If the hero is a live probiotic, a liquid can make sense. Heat and water activity still kill CFU. That argument lives in pet probiotic OEM, not in a generic "drops are premium" slide.

Glycerin, oil and the cap after opening

Water or glycerin carriers need a preservative system and an in-use period after the dropper is opened. Write that period on the pack. A 90-day open jar with no in-use line is how you get a rancid complaint.

Oils (fish, hemp seed) are oxidation problems. Headspace, light, and a pump vs a pipette change the spec. Hemp seed oil is not CBD. We will not put cannabinoids on a carton to win a search term. Skin-and-coat oil logic is in skin and coat OEM.

Dropper calibration is a factory item. "4 drops per 5 kg" is only true if the dropper we ship matches the table. Changing the pipette after artwork is a new brief.

US cat liquids cannot use propylene glycol as a carrier. See the urinary article if that is the SKU.

MOQ is not the chew number

Stock chews here often start at 500 units. Several drop and oil SKUs quote 3,000. The number that matters is the one on that SKU's quotation. Samples 7 to 15 days for catalogue liquids. First branded bottle 8 to 14 weeks if the label does not invent a drug.

Amazon still wants a clean bottle photo and a claims panel that matches FDA CVM: animal food. A dropper in the hero does not exempt you from AAFCO-style feeding directions: aafco.org.

Brief in five lines

Species. Liquid vs oil. Destination market. Dose style (ml, drops, pump). Channel. If you do not know chew vs liquid, say the channel and we will pick a side rather than quote both as one line.

Send it on the form. Name the catalogue drop if you already clicked one. A quote against "some kind of liquid, you choose" is two quotes.
