Heart, bone and paw moulds are in regular use. Custom silhouettes are quoted when the brand needs a shape that is not already on the line. Piece weight sets dose and cost per day; hardness and moisture set whether small dogs eat the course and whether the pack cakes in a humid warehouse.

Flavour, chicken-free or fish-free constraints, and daily-habit versus short-course feeding belong in the brief. Palatability checks sit in sampling, not in a slogan.

Stock chew SKUs start at 500 units per SKU. Units means finished selling units, not 500 jars of 100 chews. Confirm the figure on the written quotation.

Samples of a stock formula typically ship in 7–15 days. A first branded project with new artwork usually sits in an 8–14 week window from brief to shipment.

The extrusion line is the same licensed plant as our powders, liquids, oils, tablets and pastes. Throughput is 5 tonnes an hour. Hardness, moisture and piece weight are checked at set intervals so the first jar of a lot matches the last.

Each batch ships with a COA. Eurofins GMP, SQF Pet Food Manufacturing, the Chinese feed licence and FDA food facility registration sit on the quality page. Invoice name, COA name and certificate name should match.

Packaging is typically a jar or a pouch. Label artwork, batch code and carton are part of the same brief as the chew. A private-label run can keep the stock formula and change pack and artwork — that is the faster path.

A full custom shape plus a new flavour is slower and is priced as OEM. We review artwork against the specification; we do not write a disease claim into a carton.
